FFmpeg 1.1 video export dependency
==================================
Purpose
-------
This directory is the single FFmpeg dependency root used by the project.
It provides Win32 libraries for the PEBI result animation exporter and the
corresponding source, licenses, and build records required for delivery.
Directory layout
----------------
bin/
Runtime DLLs. Deploy all four DLLs with the application executable.
lib/
Visual Studio 2010 x86 import libraries used at link time.
include/
Installed public FFmpeg 1.1 headers.
compat/vs2010/
The inttypes.h compatibility header used by the VS2010 build.
This directory intentionally does not contain stdint.h. VS2010 supplies
stdint.h, and putting the archived compatibility stdint.h on /I causes it
to include itself without defining the integer types.
source/FFmpeg-n1.1/
Complete FFmpeg 1.1 source tree.
source/libvpx-1.3.0/
Complete libvpx 1.3.0 source tree. libvpx is statically linked into
avcodec-54.dll; no separate libvpx DLL is required.
source/msinttypes/
Unmodified archived msinttypes headers, retained as corresponding source.
licenses/
License and notice files for FFmpeg, libvpx, and msinttypes.
configuration/
FFmpeg configure output and the Chinese build instructions supplied with
this binary build. Absolute paths in these records describe the original
build machine and are not project runtime paths.
Binary versions
---------------
libavcodec 54.86.100
libavformat 54.59.106
libavutil 52.13.100
libswscale 2.1.103
libvpx 1.3.0 (statically linked into avcodec-54.dll)
Build and runtime
-----------------
The libraries are Win32/x86 and were built with Visual Studio 2010-compatible
import libraries. nmSubWxs enables the integration by default with:
CONFIG += nm_ffmpeg_video_export
The build consumes include/, compat/vs2010/, and lib/. The application
deployment consumes the four DLLs in bin/. Source and license directories are
not runtime dependencies but must be retained for third-party delivery.
Supported export combinations
-----------------------------
MP4 / MPEG-4
AVI / MJPEG
MOV / MPEG-4
MPG / MPEG-2 Video
WebM / libvpx VP8
MKV / MPEG-4
WMV / WMV2
FLV / FLV1
Licensing
---------
The supplied FFmpeg build reports LGPL version 2.1 or later. GPL, nonfree, and
version3 components were disabled. libvpx retains its BSD-style license and
PATENTS notice. msinttypes retains its BSD-style license. See
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt and licenses/ for the authoritative notices.
